How did you get into Fallout?
I got my first PC in April of 2021. I had never played any games other than Nintendo games. In 2020 I actually won a $500 gift card to Amazon and was planning to buy a PS5! I was convinced from multiple people to buy a PC instead. I got a PC instead and have not regretted it! The first voice acting job I got was for Out of the Shadows: A Fallout Mistress of Mystery Podcast in October of 2020. Since I was getting a PC and I’m in a fallout podcast, naturally one of the first games I had to get was Fallout 76! Ever since then I’ve been enjoying exploring with some new friends!
What’s your favorite Fallout game?
So far I have only played Fallout76!
How did you get into voice acting?
I’ve always admired voice acting in cartoons and have wanted to try and get into it for a while. One of my closest friends, Kim, gave me the push I needed to start auditioning! If she hadn’t pushed me to start, I would never have started voice acting!
Who inspires you/who do you admire in VAing?
I love Arleen Sorkin, the original voice of Harley Quinn. But my mind always goes to Casey Kasem first! He was most popular for voicing Shaggy on Scooby Doo, but I very much enjoy his American Top 40 Radio Broadcasts.
Favorite voices/characters you’ve done?
I adore every single one of the characters I have voiced. But there will always be a special place in my heart for my first character ever: Penelope Peterson. Thank you so much Jen for getting me started! Check out the Out of the Shadows: A Fallout Mistress of Mystery Podcast!
